4th Pitching Session By Zest Cafe

The Pitch ‘n’ Win meetup organized by Zest Cafe in November 2013 did not attract a huge crowd as before. There were only 7 of us in the group. Nevertheless, thanks all for coming despite the rainy afternoon that day.

Some Pitch ‘n’ Win organizers met before the event for a committee meeting to discuss the current status and future direction of Pitch ‘n’ Win. They joined Zest Cafe right after the meeting.

Pitch ‘n’ Win @ Zest Cafe #4 on 9th November 2013 (Saturday) was hosted by Zest Cafe boss Ong Beng Chung. All participants presented their ideas, passion and business. It’s also a good opportunity to practise your pitch especially in a smaller group.

Pitch winners were Wadud Mughal and Rosemieen-Femide. Wadud espounsed on philosophical thought related to purpose of life. Rosemieen explained how to realize your subconscious mind. Both their sharing has been beneficial.

Pitching Your Passion and Make World A Better Place

One Pitch ‘n’ Win meetup in August 2013 attracted Wadud Mughal to attend and present about himself. He went on to become a pitch winner on that day.

Wadud is leading Better World Makers Network consisting of social entrepreneurs, who crowdsource and crowdfund your passion to make the world a better place to live.

Intending to organize interesting events for his network of entrepreneurs, he approached us and began to work together for a new meetup with a focus of sharing your passion, with the aim of turning thoughts into reality.

Wadud hosted the first PITCH-UR-PASSION @ Better World Makers Network meetup on 6th November 2013 (Wednesday). It attracted a big crowd congregating in one Starbucks outlet in Bangsar, including a number of expatriates.

Participants volunteered to pitch and present their passion, ideas and business. Rosemieen-Femide and Eric Lim stood out from the crowd and became pitch winners.

The event ended well with extended networking among participants. Many positive comments and feedback have been received. One participant Eric Lim even blogged about his experience being impressed by the Pitch ‘n’ Win format. It was a great success for Wadud’s first event!
